Steps to Take to Get Ready to Practice:

Follow this procedure to access a stack so you can engage in the practice session:

TO DOWNLOAD & OPEN PRACTICE STACKS:

1. You will click on this HyperStudio shortcut symbol in the practice sessions to access the HyperStudio practice stack that has been prepared for this lesson.

2.Click RUN

3. After download is complete, click RUN again. This will cause the stack to open so you can access your practice session. IMPORTANT! You must have HyperStudio installed on your computer to work on the card. After the stack has been saved, go to the Practice Stack folder and double click on the stack you saved. Now the stack will be opened up in HyperStudioand will allow you to work on the stack.

4. Then save the practice session to a pre-determined folder. Try to save all your practice sessions to a folder that you name Practice Sessions.

Instructional Material Symbols

You will see these symbols on practice session pages.

	You will see this symbol when there is a practice stack to practice the skills for that lesson. You will need to save the stack to your computer and open that particular practice stack IN HyperStudio to be able to have access to the entire Menu Bar to work in the stack. (Otherwise you will be viewing the stack only).

	You will see this symbol when there is a "printable" copy of the practice stack instructions available in Microsoft Word.

	You will see this symbol when there is an instructional video available to view for the skill or procedure just covered.

You may need to review how to save your stack and access the stack IN HyperStudio so you can complete the practice session activities. If the stack is opened up in the HyperStudio Player, you will not have access to the entire toolbar menu that is needed to complete the practice stack instructions. Just remember that you must save the stack to your computer and then go back and open that practice session title to work on the stack.
